Organization, work and pleasure... EN

First of all, I want to start this article on a positive note, I am getting better and better every day, I am regaining strength and motivation. I also try to force myself to a little more self-discipline and a new organization, it's not that simple because you may know that discipline I generally prefer it for other people and circumstances ^^

I'm going to talk a little about reorganization and life balance in this article, but if you're not interested, you can skip straight to the photos and videos of my first little outing this summer, after all these adventures: white dress of summer, flesh-colored stockings (for slightly cooler evenings), red handbag, (faux) leather jacket, little shoes that I like and the return of the Fiat, it's just below... and more if you are a subscriber ;-)

It is quite easy, certainly more today than yesterday, to feel overwhelmed, stressed and tired, between professional life, professional or personal projects, daily management, multiple notifications and temptations, desires, frustrations, the sleep time which tends to be nibbled away little by little... It's not always easy to have a good balance in life, I know it very well between teleworking and my various professional and personal projects, it's often complicated to move forward, to structure myself and not to be overwhelmed.

It's nothing revolutionary but I learned and I'm trying to work now on several points and I think it's always good to remember it, if it can help.

Evaluate and reorganize your priorities
This is the most important, succeeding in taking a step back and segmenting your priorities. Whether it's professional or personal, you have to succeed in defining the different areas that you have to deal with, how you want to move forward and above all how you can move forward.
Need how much time per day? Is it feasible? What are the first objectives? It allows you to lay the foundations for organizing your time and not feeling overwhelmed by starting a lot of things with the impression that they are not succeeding.

Organize your time effectively
From there, you can start to organize your time, there are a multitude of tools, methods and apps that can be found online, I have tried many in recent years. The two important things being, for me, not to forget anything and to avoid procrastination, this insidious evil which pushes to postpone the most painful tasks to face, until later, always later.
To get organized, it's up to everyone to find the most suitable method but for me today I would say that "Less is more", that is to say that the simplest is the most effective: a single tool to write down and manage all the things to do and define, for each day, one or more priorities to focus on before doing anything else. If you are curious about this, I invite you to search “Eat the frog” on Google.

Set boundaries
One of the risks of organizing and planning everything and suddenly finding yourself faced with too many things to do and finally returning to the starting point. For this not to happen, you have to succeed - and it is not easy - to establish limits. Knowing how to say no, first to yourself but also to others, and being reasonable about what can be accomplished.
Simply saying "no, I can't do this right now" when you already have a busy schedule can sometimes be beneficial, rather than feeling bad and doing wrong.

Take time for yourself and cultivate wellness habits
Besides that, without falling into the clichés of life coaching… taking care of yourself and setting up some routines is important to feel good in the long term. For me, it means preserving time and the quality of the sleep (one of my biggest problems) and by regularly practicing physical activity, which is all the more essential if you have a very sedentary job (like sitting all day in front of a screen) such as Me. And of course, we don't forget to reserve time simply for activities that make us happy, such as going out to take pretty pictures and enjoy the sun, as the photos that accompany this article show ^^
