As the most assiduous readers know, BDSM is a practice that I particularly like. Many people associate this practice with specific outfits and accessories and I also really like all the aesthetics that can be expressed in this area. I love pretty outfits, locations and settings and that's important to me but not always necessary! BDSM can be integrated into our daily relationships in different ways, without having to use specific outfits or accessories.


On the one hand there is, at times, no need for anything specific to play apart from your own body and that of your partner.


On the other hand, it is quite possible, even common in many D/s (Domination/submission) relationships, to experience BDSM in everyday life. For example, using verbal and nonverbal communication to express desires, commands, or show submission. Looks, gestures and coded sentences can be very effective in communicating what you want without having to explain it explicitly.


BDSM can also be incorporated into everyday life through power and control practices. By sharing life decisions with his partner, such as organizing the schedule, finances, social or leisure activities...


I remind you that it is always important to establish clear limits and to respect them in order to feel safe in this type of relationship and to take full advantage of the aspects of BDSM on a daily basis.


And, we can't say it enough, safety, consent and open communication are essential in all BDSM practices. It is important that everyone feels comfortable and safe at all times, and we must be aware of our personal limits and those of our partner.
